Fellowship at a church about a half hour’s bus ride
away was sweet. Neil preached, and the lady who
interpreted was one of the best Neil has ever worked
with. She mimicked his expression marvelously, and
was totally fluent. He even used some idioms that he
would have had to avoid with a lesser interpreter!
The brothers and sisters there were very warm and
friendly, and some of them will travel quite a distance
to be our students.

Sunday was a lovely day. Mild temperatures,
no rain. How great!

Our picnic lunch in the missionaries’ back yard
was great, and we as a team are enjoying getting
to know each other.

An early evening back “home” gave the teachers
some prep time for the big day tomorrow, when
school starts.
We will teach during the day, and have “social times”
in the evenings with as many students as can come.
Please pray that many students will make the effort
of coming in the evenings, and that we will be able
to share meaningfully about our walk with Jesus.
